chilly winds
Last week, it was super warm; this week, it is super cold and rained. What is up with the weather?... Crazy. I'm glad I didn't put away my sweaters and knits yet; the wind has been blistering cold. Well, at least I got to wear the over-sized sweater I bought last weekend. :3
I've been really loving buying deep jewel-toned colored clothing lately. I find they look most flattering on my skin tone..since I'm sickly pale (those dark, under eye circles don't help the cause either... >___>)
Sweater was super comfy and loose, so it paired perfectly with leggings. (It was actually 3 sizes up from my normal size - oversized clothing, whoo!)
Sweater: Sears; Scarf and leggings: Forever21; Boots: Cathy Jean
There is a pre-calculus test I have to take tomorrow, and an AP US History essay on Friday. Along with the discussion of next year's classes and schedules, upcoming community service events, and the school talent show sign-ups and auditions, there's a lot to do in the next month! Nevertheless, I'm excited for it all~
I realize all I ever talk about is school on this blog. I promise you, my life isn't that boring.. maybe it is... well, I'd like to think that it isn't anyway. hah. moving on....... Hope you all had a wonderful day! (:

new items
I went shopping today with my family and bought a few things. The best part of going shopping with my mom is that we scrummage for good sale deals in department stores. All the stuff I bought today were $9-$10 each!!
A deep green-blue sweater - it's actually 3 sizes up from my actual size, but it looks really nice as an over-sized sweater. Perfect with leggings in the winter.. AND it was only $9.99! (I love buying during the end of a season - I get to stock up for next year's winter~ haha)
Floral blouse that my mom picked out for me. Was only $9. The chiffon material is absolutely gorgeous.
I found this top while searching through the multitude of racks in the department store. A simple loose top with silver sequin detailing. (Again, only $9.99!!! Gotta LOVE sales.) Can't wait to wear this one. ^___^
Well, yes. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! (: Take care!

teal
We had late start today at school. I love getting to sleep in. Sleep is the best. Woke up, had a nice breakfast (because I had time to - another reason to love late start), took my time getting ready while listening to songs from new obsession, The Wanted (UK boy band - members are absolutely dreamy *O* --- teenage girl obsessions, what can you do about it? hahaha).
Here is what I wore today~
Collared blouse & cardigan: forever21
shorts: DIY
I like how shades of green/teal look layered on each other. (: Just a simple yet colorful outfit. The weather was fantastic today. Can't wait for spring!
Well, off to memorize my spanish oral presentation for tomorrow! Hope you all have a fantastic day.

collars and cardigans
Instead of staying home and finishing up my AP U.S. History essay, I went shopping with my friend. No worries, I finished it a couple hours ago, and everything is dandy. haha. It's been forever since I stepped foot into a mall... (Well, about 2 months..but those 2 months of being shopping deprived felt really long!) So, with cash in hand (or in wallet..), I bought a good amount of clothes today and I'm happy. hahah.
Cardigan I got from forever21. It's actually a little more green in person, but it's a gorgeous teal-y color. I actually own this cardigan in a blush color, but I decided to pick this one up too. (on sale for $14. hehe)
Got this knit top from pacsun for only $10!!! I love sales~ It has some ripped detailing on it, which I think looks really cool. This top will be lovely with high-waisted shorts in the spring! ^___^
A nice button up from forever21. I love these types of shirts. I got it in a larger size because I like the look of a looser fitting button up. (I also like wearing over-sized button up tops as cardigans when it's a little warmer.)
Two collared, button up blouses from forever21. I love these - just simple blouses that can go with almost anything. (: They also had these in black and a cream/blush color, but I decided to pick up a really pretty peachy color and mint green color. (Looks more minty green in real life than in the picture.) Can't wait to wear these~
I also went to target and picked up a maybelline lipstick. I love coral-y lipsticks for the spring/summer time. (:
I'm seriously running out of room to put clothes in.... My drawers are all packed and my closet is super full... bahh.. >__< I know what I'm doing this weekend............. cleaning and organizing my closet.. yay........

I bought 4 tops and 2 cardigans today!! Love them all. (:
I actually saw this cardigan the last time I went to the mall, which was about 2 months ago, in this little boutique-y type shop and wanted it then, but never got. Surprisingly, they still had it! Although, they only had larger sizes left...I still got it anyway because the style of it was meant to be a longer, looser fitting cardigan and I love the way it looks on.Cardigan I got from forever21. hair-spiration
picture 1 &2: Sohee from Wonder Girls; gahh love her hair. *O*
picture 3: Jennifer from artinourblood.blogspot.com; her hair...is just...amazing...
picture 4, 5, 6, 7: Pictures I got from tumblr... omg.. hair..
don't mind me. just swooning at all the luscious hair in this post. Sigh, my hair needs to grow faster.
No, but seriously folks... All of their hair is gorgeous. I've been trying to grow my hair out and keep it healthy by not using heat on it. I want my hair to be pretty long. Gosh. It'll take a few more months, but I'm almost there. I'm really into looking for new hair products to try to make my hair nice and healthy while it grows out.
But for now, it's just maintaining and waiting. HAIR YOU WILL BE LONG AND LOVELY!

oh, hello again
Hi again...so, I realized that I have been neglecting this blog for a couple months now... and I'm going to give you excuses for doing so.. haha. With school and winter formal planning, I've been super busy and haven't had anytime to update this blog. However, now that formal is over (and was a success!! yay!!), the semester and finals have ended, I can finally have more time to dedicate to this blog.
As you can tell, I've changed my url (struckbywonder ---> collaredblouse). I wanted a fresh start and I really like this url compared to the old one. To update you all with what I have been up to for the past few months, I've compiled some instagram photos together -- I like to call it, an 'insta-update.' haha. (:

Christmas tree; Gingerbread house; opening presents;
Birthday dinner meal (The Cheesecake Factory); Birthday presents; Winter formal hair and makeup;
Pasta meal with friends;
Getting yogurt; Painted my nails! (OPI tickle my france-y and milani diamond dazzle)
I'm very excited that I have more time to blog on here and will definitely update as often as I can! (Especially with instagram...oh I love it!) I am still trying to reorganize everything, but I will do my best to not slack with updating..because I really do love blogging. (: heheh.
Well, I hope you all are doing well! Take care! ~
