sunday shoppin'

Today I went shopping with my mom and aunts for a bit. Haven't been to the mall for about a month or so! I only got two items, but they were both on sale! hehe. yay for sales!

This is what I wore to the mall today. Comfy and cute outfit. :3

I love denim shirts - heck, I love anything denim. I also love oversized stuff...so put those two elements together and add in a collar and I'm bound to love it! I love throwing on loose collared shirts over things. It adds such a comfy-casual-cool vibe (how's that for alliteration? hah!). I've also been really into cuffing my jeans lately.

I got this jacket on sale for $19! Normally, I wouldn't buy a sale item if it was over $15, but since it was a jacket and it's original price was $70, I thought it would be a good buy. it's a nice light weight jacket and can't wait to wear this on breezy days~

I love this dress. The material and pattern is gorgeous. It was on sale for $14 and it was too cute to pass up.

Well, AP testing is starting this week... and testing will continue for a couple more weeks.. sighh.. 2 more months until summer...just 2 more months... Can't wait for summer...

grandma chic

Helloooo. it's only wednesday.... >__< Been on block scheduling for school for the past few days...and will continue to be for the next few weeks due to testing. My SAT is on Saturday!! *cries* All I've been wanting to do for the past week is sleep... but, I can't. (Darn you school!!) The weather has been gloomy too, so it doesn't really help...

Wow.. all I really do talk about is school and the weather.. (think of different topics to talk about, theresa........)

What I wore today. Love this cardigan-sweater. It's so warm!!!! I love how it's so granny-ish. I can just see myself wearing this sweater, curling up with a book and a nice cup of tea, with 5 kittens and puppies laying around...... haha. sounds nice actually.. i love kittens and puppies *O*

I love the granny chic look..... I sometimes wonder how I'll dress when I'm like 80.........and how my taste would be later on.... it's a good thought to ponder.. haha. (oh goodness...i'm just rambling now...)

thrift haul

Over my spring break, I went on a thrifting adventure with my friends (which you can read about and see outfit pictures here). I finally got around to taking pictures of the things I got, so I decided to share them with you all. (:

I've been meaning to find corduroy shorts for the longest time! I love the way corduroy looks, so I was definitely excited to find these. They're a little bit too big, but nothing a belt can't fix. (:

A gorgeous floral maxi skirt that I found. I looooove the print! So pretty AND it can been worn as a dress. Love the versatility.

A polka dot skirt originally from forever21. It's so flowy and I love the polka dots. The cut looks a bit dated when worn on, but I'm planning to cut it a bit shorter.

I LOVE this dress. It's an XL, but when belted it looks amazing! Can't wait to wear this dresssss~

A crew neck sweater that I found~ It's actually a men's sweater, and I love the pattern. It's great for lazy days to just throw on with some jeans or something.

I picked this sleeveless denim shirt because I saw a lot of DIY potential in it. I'm planning to maybe stud the collar and dip dye it for an ombre effect. So many possiblities~

Last item I got were these wedged sandals. These were in great condition and super cute, so I had to pick them up.

(: those were some of my thrift finds. Can't wait to go another time...but....not now...since i'm broke... x___x *cries* i need to go find a money tree or something..

4 minutes to save the world

yet another Friday! yay! (: Today was quite laid back at school. We had extended lunch today because our school scored a high API score last year, so today was our "reward" day. Kiis fm radio was here blasting music, Rockstar came with free drinks, and we had random bouncy houses, inflatable obstacles, velcro walls, and rock climbing to enjoy during our lunch today! Quite fun!

The weather has been warming up lately, so I get to bust out the shorts and dresses soon! (: The corduroy shorts are something I've been looking for forever, so I was super happy when I found them.

Today was a really nice friday. Didn't do much in school today. We continued watching this scary movie in english class today (Orphanage - it's a spanish movie.... so...it was in spanish and we read the subtitles). I hate scary movies, so I just ended up sitting under a desk, holding on to the legs of it, and only watching the bottom part of the screen to read the subtitles. haha...such a wuss. ..but scary movies make me paranoid, so.....i think it was a smart idea to sit under the desk. haha. 

As for the title of this......the song was stuck in my head after watching our school's lip dub video, which I had the pleasure of being in. (lip dub is a school video...where students lip sync to a song, while walking through the campus with a bunch of clubs cheering in the back.. it's like to show off the school's spirit and such.. there are some really good ones on youtube [especially the universities!! - so amazing!]) Well, yes... haha, my titles never seem to be relevant to anything.. maybe it's just because I don't know what to title my posts 90% of the time....
